Does Scoliosis Make You Smaller Than Usual? I Have Scoliosis And Im Smaller Than Most Of My Friends.?

I am normal weight. 14 years ancient and only about 5ft 2-3.
could being small be a cause of my scoliosis?

I reckon it would depend on the severity of the curve – obviously if it is a very noticeable then it would make you slightly shorter than if your back was really straight – but we are talking only a few centimetres.
You are only 14 and everyone grows at different rates . Are your parents/siblings tall or small? And don’t worry, 5 ft 2″ is fine for a 14 year ancient girl – you are really normal.

Yea it could be since you spine isnt straight, but you could also still be growing women dont stop till 16

I don’t reckon it would affect you unless it’s so terrible you need surgery.
I have scoliosis and I’m 5′10

yep it does, but you have have surgery to fix it
