Is It Safe To Take Both Naproxen & Tylenol? Naproxen At Night And Tylenol During The Day?

I need the naproxen for an inflamed piriformis muscle. but tylenol does me better as far as pain goes. The 550 naproxen does’t start to do a thing for pain.

    It is ok to take both. But, naproxen seems like a real weak med for inflamed muscle. In my opinion the best med for inflamed muscle is Ibuprofen, it helps so well. I , myself would take 400 to 600 mg of Ibuprofen, it really helps. Naproxwn never worked for me either. Hopes this helps.

    Yes it is ok just dont take them at the same time…

    Have you tried ibuprofen? Even aspirin works excellent on inflammation. You can take them the way you describe, one during the day and the other at night.

    Yes it is safe as long as you’re taking the recommended dosage. They are two different classifications of drugs, naproxen is an anti inflammatory and tylenol is a pain killer. You can also take ibuprofen or aleve with tylenol. But never take naproxen/aleve/ibuprofen together since they’re all anti inflammatories.

    Watch you liver and do a detox regularly. I would do leg up the wall yoga pose to get rid of the muscle issue. Plus are you drinking plenty of water and staying of the red bull type drinks? Two days of stretching it in leg up wall pose then you will cross your legs like a girl and stretch the gluts…… awww the release. I would probably get on a magnesium like mag chlor probably 60 drops in some stired tomato juice, eat at least 2 sticks of celery and 3 small carrots a day.
